Julia Wolinsky is a Principal Designer at Salesforce based in Los Angeles. She has spent the last 7 years launching new and innovative products for Sales Cloud. She made the career switch from teaching middle school to UX and is now passionate about helping teach others about the career and make the transition. She has more than 10 years working as a UX designer and has honed her craft to be an expert in Systems Design, Prototyping, and User Research. Recently having finished her MBA, she has been able to work closely with product and engineering leaders on UX Strategy, combining design and business. She has designed for a variety of surfaces including smartwatches, mobile, and autonomous cars.

Having made the jump to UX from teaching, I know first hand how scary and intimidating it can be to make a career pivot.
